How do you decide when to change the oil in your car? Do you do it every 3000 miles? Go along with whatever the sticker on your windshield says? Wait until the oil light comes on? However you decide to perform necessary maintenance on your car, it’s likely a mix of conventional wisdom, expert advice, and warning lights. Like cars, our home HVAC systems require routine maintenance to keep them safe and efficient. Unlike cars, many owners are less likely to understand why and when to schedule that maintenance until it’s too late.
Maertin Heating and Cooling makes it simple to maintain your HVAC system.
Residential HVAC systems get a lot of use, producing normal wear and tear on the systems themselves. Dirt and dust build up in a variety of places and parts can degrade over the life of the appliance. Regular maintenance can relieve the build-up and maximize the efficiency of your system. You can perform some of this maintenance by changing air filters regularly, but our trained service technicians provide a much more thorough internal examination and cleaning, catching little issues before they turn into big problems.
Maertin Heating and Cooling offers these services in our tiered Energy Savings Agreement to ensures our customers’ systems continue to operate efficiently and consistently.
The first component of routine maintenance for HVAC systems is to make sure it is part of your regular homeowner routine. When you have a Savings Agreement with Maertin, we will call you (no need to call us!) to schedule an appointment, so you can check that task off your list!
Our first tier of service offers homeowners with newer systems a way to monitor and maintain efficiency. We offer a safety and efficiency checkup. One of our expert technicians will thoroughly inspect your HVAC system to evaluate and ensure its performance. They will check component parts, oil motors, and clean sensors. They will also take temperatures, measure levels and provide you with an assessment of your system.
Over time, even the most efficient systems in the most pristine environments will require a deeper cleaning and closer look. Maertin’s Level II ESA provides clients with a precision tune up and professional cleaning of their home HVAC system. Beyond replacing the air filter, this tune up checks and cleans the system at its component levels, making adjustments where necessary. These adjustments provide a return on investment by maximizing heating and cooling efficiency, and gives you the peace of mind of knowing that your system is safe and stable.
Our Energy Savings Agreements offer you a way to maximize your HVAC’s efficiency and to extend that efficiency as your system ages. Routine maintenance will, over the life of the appliance, find worn or damaged parts that may require repairs. Without routine maintenance, wear and tear will eventually cause an HVAC breakdown potentially requiring an emergency repair visit. Our Level II Agreement includes a 15% discount on any repairs that may be needed within the dates of your contract.
We know our customers would prefer incurring small repair costs compared to a whole new system!
A Maerten Heating and Cooling Energy Savings Agreement helps you realize the energy savings of an efficient system. It prolongs the life of your system by regularly cleaning and tuning components. And finally, it provides a comprehensive assessment of your system so you can identify small repairs before they become big HVAC emergencies.
